On the coat-tails of the news about Apple’s Ipad, it’s important to know how technology influences those in PR or the media.
We are part of a society that everything is ‘now’, and PR is no different. Those in PR know it is a 24-hour job where almost anything can happen. Having the right technology is so important to help us stay ahead in this field.
January is a terrific month of the year! Why is that? – Because it’s a great start to planning for success and excitement for the rest of the 11 months remaining.
Here are a few things notes to get out as we approach the end of this month:
1. January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month – learn more about this and help spread the message to help keep cancer deaths down! For more information, visit http://www.nccc-online.org/awareness.html.
We at Full Circle are very excited about the Senior and Caregivers Expo this weekend. There will be a speaker on the National Silver Alert Program, which helps seniors if they become lost, sick, or end up in the hospital. It provides their medications, records, and contact information. We greatly believe in this and giving back to the seniors in our community as they have once done for us.

(January 12, 2009) – With so much doom and gloom in cancer news, it is a relief to know there are some types of cancer that can be prevented or stopped in their tracks before creating a dismal mortality statistic. One of those is cervical cancer – a cancer that certainly affects too many women (approximately 11,300 in the U.S.), but can certainly be prevented or caught early enough to battle and cure. January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month and in an effort to continue fighting for the decline in death rates in the U.S. and spreading awareness on this disease, local oncologists share detection and prevention information for cervical cancer.
